Penetrator T300 Carbon fins have a profile of 72 cm working blade length, a 25-degree blade angle for efficient surface fining and are extremely lightweight at 200 grams with Penetrators’ speciality made wide water channelling rails. This means less fatigue and lower oxygen consumption for divers who appreciate the advantages that can be gained from high-performance equipment.
By using an advanced vacuum moulding process, high temperature digitally controlled and monitored cure cycle Penetrator Fins Carbon fins undergo a unique process that produces a void-free, perfectly balanced laminate to get the most of this incredible material. This process eliminates the requirement for secondary disposable materials used by other manufacturers; producing an outstanding surface finish on both sides of the blade and reducing our Carbon Footprint. The flex curve design is achieved with the correct balance of layers that give the blade a life of its own. This is brought to life through correct fining technique letting the carbon fibre do the work for you.
All fins are Computer Numerical Control (CNC) cut to ensures accurate profiles to an accuracy of .01mm on each blade 100% of the time.
Penetrator Fin’s proprietary rubber water rail have also been specially made to suit the profile of the Penetrator Range, ensuring knife-like flow through the water, and are made of a high-quality EDPM and Silicone, designed to withstand the harsh Australian climate.
Penetrator carbon blades receive a unique protective layer of aerospace-grade Kevlar 49 multi-axial reinforcement integrated into the tip of each and every blade, preventing chips and cracking from incidental contact. Kevlar is an extremely resilient and flexible material providing added impact resistance while allowing full flexibility of the blade tip.
